Obama's Ego-Typical Energy Crisis Plan

Listening to Obama is like listening to a preacher. He praises no one but himself. Puts himself up on the highest pedestal, and puts down America. What kind of President would do that? Not even, the Democrat hated, George W. Bush would even treat the office of the Presidency in such a manner. Bill Clinton came close to being egotistical, but not like Obama!

His arrogance runs deep within his veins. He has suggested that Americans fill their tires up to the proper level, and get a car tune up, so we can reduce the amount of energy (gas) we use! This sounds a bit like President Carter during the energy crisis in the late 70s who sat in front of a fireplace with his cardigan sweater and asked us all to turn down the thermostat and wear sweaters!

Obama is so quick to ask Americans to suffer, to lay down their arms, to give up everything for HIS and his liberal friends cause. That's not what America stands for, MR OBAMA!

America stands for individualism, and individual achievement. It stands for unity in times of extreme crisis (9/11). It stands for the PURSUIT of happiness, not the handouts and socialist policies the Democrats have created since F.D.R. with the ever increasing welfare state. Listen carefully and you will hear, the socialist policies, of the left ring loud and clear!

All of Obama's policies are geared toward massive socialism, a platform which is being torn down all across Europe because it doesn't work. Obama's energy plan is no different. He asks the public to use less gas, and doesn't mind if gas prices go up. He just didn't want them to go up that much! This all fits into the socialist agenda. Government will fix everything! It's not the idea that rising gas prices will make Americans look for alternative sources of energy, it's that government will tax the energy companies with the proposed "windfall profits tax" and make everything just fine. Nothing the government has ever done in a Federal program has ever worked well! Social Security, Medicare, V.A. Hospital system, Airport Security, Air Traffic Control. and the list goes on and on.

Getting back to energy, has anyone ever looked up the definition of "windfall" ? You can find it here. The whole concept with "Windfall Profits" is that it is UNEXPECTED! Are profits from a business unexpected? Hasn't this oil crisis been expected since the 1970s? Wasn't it expected that oil prices will rise as demand increases and supply decreases, as China and India become more industrialized and part of the global economy?

This is notwithstanding that many companies have more than a 10% profit on their products and services. Look at Microsoft, Walmart, MasterCard Inc., Hewlett-Packard Co. and Prudential Financial Inc. Just to name a few across different sectors. This "windfall profit tax" is just another way for a Democratically controlled Congress to continue to create nationalized oil industry as Congresswoman Maxine Waters suggested back in May of this year. Ooops... was this a slip, or is this one of the secret plans of the Democratic Party for America?

This is just another in a list of Democratic positions for America. National Healthcare (whether you want it or not?), taxing the rich to pay for the poor (redistribution of wealth), and windfall profits tax and more.

This is the most perilous time for America, economically, politically, and for security. We need to fight to keep our national identity and not allow Democrats to destroy the greatest country in the world! Obama has been on the wrong side of many of these issues which could make or break America in the 21st century!
